Founded in 1998 by a collective of professional dancers and journalists, for the past 19 years the Dance Insider has been the leading dance magazine for dance professionals, teachers, company directors, colleges and universities, and serious students, and the leading source of dance reviews from around the world. The Dance Insider is edited by Paul Ben-Itzak, a Princeton-educated veteran journalist and translator who has also written for the New York Times, Reuters, and dozens of other publications. Paul also edits The Arts Voyager , the Dance Insider Directory, and the Maison de Traduction. Trained as an actor, Paul has also created and directed plays with children, and in 2011 made his off-Broadway debut as Weston in Sam Shepard’s “The Curse of the Starving Class.”
